Greenwood
is the home of Lander University, a state-supported
coeducational institution with more than 60 areas
of study. Lander is a small, intimate community,
but still has many of the extracurricular activities
of a much larger university. Whether you're planning

Festival
of Flowers is held in the summer each year. The
Festival features flowers and horticultural exhibits,
arts and crafts, dancing, music, tennis tournaments,
swim meets and softball games. |

Ninety Six National Historic Site is an area of
unique historical significance as a prominent figure
in the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution.
The park site covers 989.14 acres and is open 362
days a year. In the month of February a four night
event takes place at the historical railroad depot
in Ninety Six. |
